Dungeon Rock Racing (DRR) Snowshoe Team:
A core group of North Shore athletes created DRR to recognize the potential benefit of combining our crazy band into one North Shore snowshoe "team". Thus was born Dungeon Rock Racing, named after the famed location in our beloved Lynn Woods.
In a nutshell DRR is simply a "team" racing/training for the love of snowshoeing. There is no membership fee, we don't have board officers, time qualifying standards, etc.
Monitoring race results is easy; the volunteer requirement will be on the honor system.
So, if you are ready to accept the challenge, risk life and limb to compete in possibly the most heart pounding, lung burning, frostbite inducing, quad busting racing you will ever encounter send an email to: cooper_3377@msn.com.
In your message please include the following information:
Your first and last name (so I have it spelled correctly);
Preferred email;
Your intended volunteer event (if you know of one...); and,
Your singlet size if necessary (see below)*
Once I have your information it will be added to the 2010 roster. Your email address will not be shared. I will utilize the "bcc", DRR does not use a listserv, information will only be sent to everyone's email for "big" announcements.
*If you would like to order a DRR singlet (not required) include your singlet size in the above email. Our current best guess is that singlets will be in the $25 dollar range. Please do not send any money at this point. You will be contacted separately if you express interest in the singlets.
