Hey All,
Weather permitting a few of us will be meeting up at the Merrimack River Trail Head for a little training run this Sunday at 9am. (This is also the spot where we will be meeting to car pool for Cobble Mountain). The parking lot is just off Exit 45 on I 93. Check out the map link at the bottom of the site....

Dungeon Rock Racing (DRR) Snowshoe Team: A core group of North Shore athletes created DRR to recognize the potential benefit of combining our crazy band into one North Shore snowshoe team. Thus was born Dungeon Rock Racing, named after the famed location in our beloved Lynn Woods. In a nutshell DRR is simply a team racing/training for the love of snowshoeing. While there is a membership fee, we don't have time qualifying standards.
2012 Team Membership Rulz:
- New this year -- Team Registration. You must register as a member of DRR in order to participate as a DRR racer. Registration should be availble on RUNREG by October 31, 2011.
- To race as a DRR team member your name must appear on the team roster prior to December 25, 2011. Thereafter the team will be "Closed" for the duration of the 2011 - 2012 season. Please contact Dan Cooper should you have any questions or concerns.
- Volunteer at a minimum of one event between now and March. (Does not have to be a snowshoe race)

ReplyDeleteHey, What a great site Dungeon Rock Racing Folks! I have yet to dust off the snow shoes but in due time.... Hopefully the trails are nice and clear-ish for your Sunday. Any runners in DRR group that run at a slower pace than you speedsters?

Pixie, I'm one of the slow pokes! Seriously, DRR has runners of all abilities and all are welcome. We would love to have you join us for some training runs and races.
